Launching a new venue season is about more than announcing dates and line ups. It's about building anticipation, creating a memorable moment for your community, and turning excitement into action.

For the launch of its 2026/27 season, Phantom wanted to reward its most engaged fans while creating momentum ahead of the public on-sale. The goal was simple: make the season announcement feel like an event in itself.

A venue built around a loyal community

Over the past few years, Phantom has established itself as one of Paris' leading electronic music venues, welcoming artists such as Charlotte de Witte, Peggy Gou, Amélie Lens, and Boris Brejcha.

Alongside its programming, Phantom has built a strong community of regular attendees who engage with the venue far beyond individual events.

The challenge: turning a season announcement into an event

For most venues, a season announcement is a single communication moment. Phantom wanted to turn it into a multi-step experience that would:

  • Build anticipation ahead of the season reveal.
  • Turn the announcement into a memorable community moment.

  • Before unveiling its 2026/27 season, Phantom opened pre-registration, allowing fans to sign up and be among the first to discover the lineup when it was revealed, including artists such as Funk Tribu, Ben Klock, and Heartstring.
  • The day before the public ticket launch, Phantom hosted a private Reveal Party for more than 4,000 members. Headlined by Half Pipe Records, the event turned the season announcement into a shared community experience rather than a simple online reveal.
  • During the event, attendees scanned a QR code displayed on screens and were directed to the season page. Phantom then revealed the access code "ALIVE", giving attendees exclusive early access to season tickets before the public on-sale opened the following day.

What changed

Instead of publishing its lineup through a traditional announcement, Phantom turned the reveal into a shared experience.

Fans signed up ahead of the launch, gathered in person for the Reveal Party, and became the first to discover the upcoming season together.

By connecting the announcement, the event, and the ticket launch, Phantom created anticipation before the reveal and gave attendees a reason to actively participate rather than simply consume the announcement online.

Key results

  • Built anticipation ahead of the 2026/27 season reveal.
  • Rewarded loyal fans with exclusive access and first-look privileges.
  • Generated organic awareness and social sharing around the season launch.
