Why Shotgun?

Like you, we love music. So we built an intuitive software and distribution platform that helps live event organisers grow their brand, manage their operations and build their community.

By drastically reducing the complexity of designing and marketing an event brand, Shotgun allows organisers to refocus on what truly matters to them: artistic direction and event production.

In a world where going out has become a lifestyle, the Shotgun app has become the go-to destination for young people to discover events, buy and resell tickets. Over the years, we've built a fast-growing community of users worldwide.

Once upon a time

Paris, 2014. An unlikely meeting between an introverted engineer, a southerner who throws parties, and a rock fan studying political science—united by a shared observation: "Paris is boring" and a desire to change that. A new creative generation was emerging, but there was no bridge to connect them with an eager audience.

Shotgun was born in the warehouses of the Parisian underground electronic scene, helping new artists and event creators grow from intimate crowds to thousands of fans. Early Shotgun users quickly embraced the product and shaped it alongside the scene.

Shotgun became the infrastructure between creators and the new generation of partygoers, evolving into an underground discovery platform.

Who are we?

We're a people-sized company with an international team spread across our offices in France (Paris, Marseille), the Iberian Peninsula (Lisbon), Brazil (São Paulo) and the United States (New York, Miami)—all home to beautiful banana plants, the pride of our green-fingered CRO 🌴🍌

Epicureans at heart, we share a love for music, parties, food and travel. We strive to create unique team moments and foster a supportive, caring spirit. Curious by nature, we're all driven by challenge and exploration.

From Carol, an LGBTQIA+ event organiser and renowned artist in São Paulo, to Nico, an essential event producer in France, to Lucas our CTO, a brilliant engineer who amazes us every day—our team is made up of kind, expert people who can help you whatever your needs.
